My NEW SONG!
It is almost done. I'm still singing the female's part, so don't expect that to stay the same.

Strong Acids
So I just made a new music video for all those people trying to learn the strong acids. This can be helpful for college inorganic chemistry classes. The MCAT and DAT will be no sweat after this!

Utah Provo Mission
Today I was thinking quite a bit about my mission. To be honest I really miss it and wish I could remember all the details with more clarity. Sadly, that isn't possible, and the best thing I can do is remind myself about it as often as possible. I can't wait until I am called to serve again.

I Wish I Was a Little Bit Taller
That title is not entirely correct. I don't think anyone should believe that I think that. I would quickly correct someone if they attributed this title to me by saying that it should read "I Wish I WERE a Little Bit Taller." It is necessary to use the past subjunctive in this case. Were instead of Was. But the meaning is still relevant, no?
If I were to sum up my life in a few music videos, these would be it!
#1 Skee Lo - "I Wish"
#2 Tevin Campbell - "Stand Out"
#3 The Go! Team - "Get It Together"

TELL ME HOW
So last week I put this song together for my teaching English as a second language class. If you don't already know, I'm studying to be a Spanish and ESL teacher. In my ESL class I'm taking right now I'm the only guy. The rest are girls (...duh). So I had to do a presentation about how to teach compare and contrast texts. So instead of giving a dry, boring report I sang this song. It was fun! And don't judge, I did all the lyrics, singing, editing, etc. in 25-30 minutes!
Could you imagine James Taylor the famous singer?
Here are the lyrics:
INTRO
How do you teach ELL students?
Tell me how, tell me how.
Think about how hard it is for them.
Tell me how tell me how.
VERSE 1
Some texts confuse, but you as teachers haaave no excuse
To keep it this way (hey) we gotta avoid that disarray.
Remember that they can learn and develop just as fast.
Thats why I will teach you now how to compare and how to contrast.
CHORUS
So teacher dont worry, first you will show them,
Then you will guide them, then youll let them do it by themselves.
If you dont follow these steps that I modeled
Think about how hard itll be for them.
Tell me how, tell me how.
Think about how hard it is for them.
Tell me how, tell me how.
VERSE 2
Why does this help? Because it brings their knowledge out
Of things that they know. (oh) It is proven to make their vocab grow
Remember that they can learn and develop just as fast.
Thats why I will teach you now how to compare and how to contrast.
CHORUS
